Le Matt Confederate Replica Pistol
IN STOCK
This massive revolver was a favorite of Confederate troops during the Civil war. It featured awesome firepower with its nine .41 caliber bullets and one 20 gauge single barrel firing a slug or buckshot. This replica gun has a working single action, loading lever, and simulated checkered wood grips.
Now this is one historic revolver that is a must for your collection.

Grey finish looks better than some of the plated models. Cylinder could work better, loading lever needs some tweeking, and shotgun ramrod could be made removeable like the real gun. Overall, good value as a prop, impressive looking when out.

This was my first purchase of a Denix replica, and overall, I can say that I'm impressed. The price is really good for this pistol, and it's definitely worth your money. The action is pretty cool, but my one gripe with it is that every other time the cylinder doesn't line up perfectly with the hammer, which can sometimes be irritating. The grips are alright, but the bottom end of mine appeared to be loose right out of the box. I'm not sure if it was because of shipping, but it's still a problem. The shell loader is cool, and you have to have the pistol at half-cock to use it correctly. Overall, I'd give this gun a 3.5 out of 5. It's very cool and the feel is great, but the cylinder and grips bring the overall quality down. I'd recommend this to you if you want a relatively low-priced Civil War replica or a history buff in general.
